Chapter 7: Submit Your Applications

Most companies will let you apply to two different programs in two different locations.  Try to submit as many applications as you can – the most successful applicants submit 35-40 total.

• Make sure to apply to analyst programs, as those programs offer excellent opportunities including networking, enticing salaries, and job security
• For each firm, apply to 1-2 programs that fit your interests/qualifications, and try to apply to as many firms as possible
• Your application strategy should include a few “safety applications,” in case your top choices don’t pan out
• For each position, (1) submit your resume/cover letter through your career center and (2) submit your completed application through the firm’s website
